MTV Video Music Awards 2019 ini pun telah mengumumkan nominasi dan kategori baru.

Dilansir dari Tribun Seleb, MTV Video Music Awards telah menambahkan kategori baru yaitu Best K-Pop.

Dari sejumlah grup K-Pop, BTS masuk ke dalam nominasi tersebut.

Selain BTS, grup-grup lain juga berhasil masuk nominasi tersebut seperti Blackpink, EXO, Monsta X, TXT dan NCT 127.

Sukses dengan lagu Boy with Luv feat. Halsey, nama BTS pun semakin melambung di kancah musik internasional.

BTS bahkan akan bersaing dengan musisi-musisi ternama Amerika dalam ajang penghargaan tersebut.

Selain Best K-Pop, BTS juga dinominasikan di beberapa kategori lainnya seperti Best Collaboration, Best Choreography, dan Best Art Direction.

Penghargaan MTV Video Music Awards akan digelar pada 26 Agustus 2019 mendatang di Prudential Center di Newark, New Jersey, Amerika Serikat.
